Bands on the Beach returns this month to the Gulfside Pavilion on Casino Beach with a lively lineup of music set against the beautiful backdrop of the Gulf of Mexico. The outdoor concert series features performances every Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Presented by the Santa Rosa Island Authority, Bands on the Beach showcases a variety of regional artists and musical styles, from classic rock and pop to country and blues. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and dancing shoes.
May Lineup:
May 13 — True Blue Band
True Blue is a high-energy band from Gulf Breeze, known for their blend of upbeat grooves, soulful vocals and funky blues. As one of the Gulf Coast’s top rising acts, they deliver an engaging mix of R&B, soul and roots music.
May 20 — On the Rox
On The Rox is a dynamic Pensacola-based band that puts a fresh spin on your favorite hits, blending classic tunes with their own unique style and flair. Fronted by founder and lead vocalist Roxanne Nicholson, the ensemble features Cedric Brooks (keyboard), Matt Riley (guitar), Fred Hunter (bass), Fred Cornish (drums), and vocalists Jason Purify and Damani Nicholson. On the Rox has a special guest they are bringing on stage, according to their Facebook page.
May 27 — Pistol Pearl & The Wester Band
Pistol Pearl & the Wester Band is a rising brother-sister country duo from Pensacola Beach, featuring Pearl Clarkin and Rafe Wester. Known for their fresh, high-energy style, they blend Pearl’s glitter with Rafe’s grit to create a modern country sound. They released their debut single, “Redneck RollerCoaster,” in 2021.
