Coastal Cat Café is combining springtime creativity with animal care as it hosts a Easter-themed event on Friday, April 3, offering participants a chance to paint eggs while interacting with adoptable cats.

The event, scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m., will take place inside the café’s cat lounge, located at 1508 W. Garden St., Pensacola. The space will be decorated in seasonal pastel themes for the occasion. For $25, attendees will receive a full set of supplies, including eggs, painting materials and a mini basket, along with access to the café’s resident cats during the session.

Organizers say the event is designed to provide a relaxed, family-friendly environment where guests can enjoy a hands-on activity while spending time with more than 20 adoptable cats currently housed at the café. The gathering is open to participants ages 5 and older.

Proceeds from the event will go directly toward the care of the cats and the maintenance of the café’s facility, which serves as both a social space and an adoption center.

Due to the café’s size, attendance is limited. Organizers note that group sizes are capped at six participants, and advance registration is encouraged.

Participants are also required to complete a waiver prior to attending, which can be accessed through the café’s website.

Parking at the location is limited. Additional street parking is available along West Garden Street, as well as public parking near the bus stop at the corner of North I Street and West Garden Street.
