Pensacola’s waterfront will come alive with pageantry and patriotism Saturday, May 10, during a special military appreciation parade at 10 a.m. held in conjunction with Navy Days 2025 after the Navy Days 4K Run/Walk, which begins at 8 a.m. The day will culminate with a community celebration at Plaza DeLuna.

The parade will feature military units, equipment displays, Sailors of the Year, marching bands and precision drill teams against the backdrop of Pensacola’s scenic waterfront. In a Gulf Coast twist, many of Pensacola’s Mardi Gras krewes will participate, each pairing with a military unit aboard a float. These partnerships symbolize the close bond between the civilian and military communities in the region.

The parade will embrace red, white and blue as its guiding colors. The festive atmosphere will include spirited music, heartfelt tributes and a tone of respectful celebration.

The parade will conclude at the free Fun Fest at Plaza DeLuna with food trucks, children’s activities, live entertainment, military vehicle exhibits and more.

This annual event exemplifies the pride, gratitude and shared heritage that runs deep through the Gulf Coast, reaffirming Pensacola’s role as a community that honors and celebrates those who protect the nation.
