Pensacola's first liquor-infused ice cream parlor has opened for its inaugural summer season at 194 N. Palafox St. in downtown Pensacola.

Tipsy Scoop specializes in ice cream and sorbet infused with alcohol, inspired by classic and contemporary cocktails. The products contain up to 5% alcohol by volume. The shop also offers "Cool Kids Sundaes" and non-alcoholic mocktail flavors for younger patrons.

Founded in 2014 in New York City, Tipsy Scoop has expanded to include two company-owned stores in New York and franchise locations in Washington, D.C., the Bahamas, Portland, Oregon, Nashville, Tennessee, Baltimore and now Pensacola.

The Pensacola location offers boozy scoops, sundaes, flights and cocktails. The shop features a signature Florida-inspired flavor exclusive to the Pensacola location: Spiked Key Lime Pie ice cream infused with Blue Chair Bay White Rum and Blue Chair Bay Key Lime Rum Cream.

The Pensacola parlor is owned by Pensacola natives Tony and Jen Lindberg.

The Lindbergs said they are enthusiastic about introducing the concept to Pensacola's growing food and nightlife scene.

Tipsy Scoop Pensacola is located at 194 N. Palafox St. in downtown Pensacola.
