Beer enthusiasts will have the opportunity to sample dozens of craft brews and spirits while supporting a local nonprofit when the 12th annual Craft Beer Fest returns to the Fish House Deck on Saturday, June 20.
Hosted by The Fish House, the event will run from 3 to 6 p.m. and feature more than 50 different beers, along with a variety of spirits from regional and national producers. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida.
According to Dean Clark, beverage manager for Great Southern Restaurants, the festival is designed to introduce attendees to a wide range of handcrafted beverages while supporting both the local brewing community and a worthwhile cause.
“This event is designed to allow the public to taste a large variety of handcrafted beers with an opportunity to sample a number of styles to determine preferences,” Clark said. “We love putting on this event because it benefits an amazing cause.
Being able to showcase and support not only local breweries, but the beverage community as a whole is so important to us.”
Festival-goers can expect a diverse lineup of breweries representing Florida and beyond. Participating breweries include Pensacola Bay Brewery, Perfect Plain Brewing Co., Props Craft Brewery, Odd Pelican Beer Co., Ology Brewing Co., Braided River Brewing Co., Urban South Brewery, Victory Brewing Company, Grayton Beer Company, Wicked Weed Brewing, Swamp Head Brewery, Founders Brewing Co. and Fairhope Brewing Company, among others.
In addition to craft beer tastings, attendees will have access to spirits tables featuring products from distilleries and brands including Rollins Distillery, Asesinato Tequila, Bushwacker Spirits, Meili Vodka, St. Augustine Distillery, Bulleit Bourbon, XXI Martini and The Botanist Gin.
Admission includes a souvenir beer glass and unlimited access to beer and spirit tastings throughout the event.
Tickets will be available through The Tackle Shop, located at The Fish House, and online. Prices are $40 plus tax. Limited tickets may also be available at the door on the day of the event.
Organizers note that the festival is open only to guests 21 and older and will be held rain or shine.
The Fish House is located along Pensacola’s waterfront and has hosted the annual festival for more than a decade.
